our shower was held at ciao amici's – an italian restaurant in downtown brighton was a great mural on the wall and lots of natural light, thanks to huge windows in the front room! more photos on my facebook page. (julie)

Palazzo di Bocce

We went to play bocce ball with the family on Friday night before my shower on Saturday. We had a blast. My parents are able to frequent the restaurant with friends, but it's a treat for us. The premise is that you play a round of bocce ball (about an hour and a half the way we play!) and then you eat a fabulous dinner!!!

For those in the Detroit area, the restaurant is up near the Palace and I highly recommend a trip there!

Our New Car!

I finally talked Nick into letting us buy something that was USC colored! =) We brought home our new car this weekend, after picking it up on the way down to our shower. We LOVE it and got it for an amazing price and quality...

So, we got there, went for a test drive and I'm opening all the compartments, just to find...a DVD player!!! We had no idea. Although it won't really come in handy for us until later in life.. =) but it's cool to have!
