Reardon Wedding

it all started with a "bridal shower in a box" from the bride-to-be's sister. the bride lives in california and we (her friends) are all over. we were supposed to use a digital camera that was included and take pictures of something that reminded us of the bride. she went to msu, so when we went tailgating at the iowa game, i took pics of everything msu.

the rehearsal dinner was at one of my favorite restaurants in birmingham – big rock chop house. i LOVE the decor of got rocks (the lounge upstairs) where the dinner took place.

then on to the wedding at the royal park hotel in rochester..

the centerpieces were cool. as we were walking in nick said "please tell me those are peanut m&ms". HAHAHAHHAHA.
we were at the miner merlot table – named after a vineyard in napa.

Turkeys

we have a few friendly visitors in the neighborhood... the whole fam isn't pictured here, there are 14 total, but you get the picture. they are the size of a large dog.

Painting

we've been doing some painting. nick put up a chair rail in the dining room and i painted it a greenish gray color. the living room hallway and kitchen are all the lighter color on top. the half bath (below) uses leftover paint from the bottom!

a twenty dollar light fixture from ikea and a can of black paint and we have a new bathroom!

Deck Rebuild

the old deck was sketchy at best.... so nick tore it down and rebuilt a newer, bigger, and prettier one! all handcrafted by nick.
