Honeymoon - St. Maarten

We are back from our honeymoon to St. Maarten! I was really nice weather. This is the beach near the airport, the sign is hilarious... until you see how close the planes fly in. This picture is not photoshopped by the way.

yes, the following picture does say "mullet bay". nick was determined to find it.
we went on a sunset dinner cruise out on a large catamaran. the highlight of the trip..

we took a day trip over to st. barths. the island was gorgeous. the boat ride over there was absolutely miserable. i learned something very important that day – when the driver of the high speed ferry tells you that "it's going to be rough out there today", GET OFF THE BOAT, right away. it was horrible.

there were lots of really cute restaurants all near our hotel. the food at these places was so much better than in the touristy areas.
st. maarten has their own area called a "boardwalk". it's basically where the cruise ships come in and suck everyone's money away...

lots of fun! we were ready to come home though! getting married is exhausting! =)
